Note to self: Stop #&%*@$ around and start meditating.

Don’t be offended, this post is for me. If you take anything from it, good for you. How many times do you have to be told that meditation is great for you? Study after study stating that as little as 15 minutes a day will improve your health, increase your happiness, make you more successful, strengthen your ability to perform under pressure, improve your relationships with others etc.

Some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs, athletes and world leaders credit meditation for their success. These are very capable people (much better than you) who say that sitting in silence with their eyes closed and breathing regularly has caused their success. It’s fucking crazy I know, but it works. So stop being an idiot and start meditating for 15 minutes a day. There’s nothing on Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, TV or the greater internet that is more important than you taking the time to build this daily habit.

Yes, I have found countless excuses to NOT meditate on some days, and all those days have something in common, I felt LESS – happy, fulfilled, disciplined, productive, caring, kind, intelligent, considerate, relaxed, efficient, creative, conscious and satisfied. I promise you that this one practice of mindfulness will change your life.

If you really can’t just sit in a room in silence (you should be able to) then download an app like headspace, but you really don’t need it.

Meditate. Just fucking do it. Namaste.
